Good deposit located today
 

I located a good deposit in a creek bed today but alas passed on it. The smackdown price of gold doesn't make it worth going after.

Yea Andy, every sample pan I washed had nothing but clunkers in it but you know the story: panning is slow and exceedingly labor intensive.

I quickly (aren't I smart?) figured at the time that the price of gold has to go higher before all this work and effort are worth it. How bad can a guys luck be? Finding a good deposit of course colors when the price of gold is being hammered more then it has in 25 years.

Terrible luck I say.

I packed up my outfit and went to Arby's to at least salvage SOMETHING good out of the morning.

Yah, I'd go over to my safety deposit box and get all the gold I've dug in the last couple years and flush it down the toilet, but the cost of the gasoline to go the the bank is too expensive!

The only way you would have gotten anything good out of the morning is if you'd been in a car wreck before you got to Arby's. I worked there in my youth, and you REALLY don't want to know.
